Carnet De Manipulador de Alimentos – Food Handler’s Card – Basic (Spain)
Basic Food Handler’s course, leading to Certificate of the “Carnet de Manipulador de Alimentos”, the Food Handler’s ‘License to Operate’. The Carnet is a requirement of individuals working – or wanting to work – in commercial food establishments (e.g. waiters, bar staff, etc.), but not in the kitchens where food is prepared for consumption.
The High Risk course consists of one further Topic than the three Topics in the Basic course. For this reason, we recommend that students complete the “High Risk” course . This will enable successful students to work either outside or within the food preparation area (kitchens) of a commercial food establishment.
