This course outlines the Habeas Data Law as it applies to individuals’ financial data held by banks and other financial institutions. They use this information to calculate a person’s credit risk, such as payment habits, previously taken credits and average salary or income. The law defines the protection of personal data that is stored in such financial centers and confirms the right of any natural or legal entity (e.g. individual or company) to request and obtain the existing information about them , and to request its elimination or correction if it is false or outdated.
